Kathleen Anderson Pope age 93 a homemaker of Thomasville, AL died December 27, 2017 at Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 9, 1924 in Sunny South, AL to Vernon and Zula Anderson. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church in Thomasville, AL.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Pope of Thomasville, AL; four daughters, Vicki (Irby) Weaver of Thomasville, AL; Cindy (Wade) Duke of Thomasville, AL; Kathy Odom of Thomasville, AL; and Ginger Dotson of Thomasville, AL; two brothers, Vernon (Jeanne) Anderson of Orrville, AL; and Donald (Pat) Anderson of Florence, AL; sister-in-law, Winnie B. Anderson of Thomasville, AL; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moody Pope; son, Jimmy Pope; parents, Vernon and Zula Anderson; sister, Dorothy Lowry; and brother, Billie Anderson.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Scott Myers and Rev. Irby Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Sunny South Baptist Church Cemetery in Sunny South, AL.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
