Sarah Joe Duke age 82 of Gallion, AL died October 9, 2017 at her home. She was born March 31, 1935 in Sweet Water, AL to Lewis Dewey and Edna Irene Hall. She was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by her husband, Clint A. Duke, Jr. of Gallion, AL; son, Paul Lynn of Thomasville, AL; three daughters, Dianne Browning of Dothan, AL; Sarah Jean Hiebeler of Hot Springs, AR; and Marie Wyatt of Demopolis, AL; a sister, Patty Etheridge of Sweet Water, AL; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 10:00 am until 10:30 am. Graveside funeral services will follow at Old Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am with Rev. Morris Hill officiating.
