Obituary for Josie Gay Phillips Kelley

Josie Gay Phillips Kelley age 73 a homemaker of Sweet Water, AL died September 28, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital. She was graduate of the University of North Alabama, and served in the US Army, as 1st Lieutenant in the WAC. She attended Aimwell Baptist Church in Sweet Water, AL.

She is survived by her step children, Paulette Debow, Paul A. Kelley, Mike W. Kelley, Christy Moore, Teressa Kelley, Debbie Kelley, and Scott Kelley; two sisters, Ruth Phillips and Valerie Morgan: sister-in-law, Karen M. Phillips, many beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Kelley, her parents, Asa Abner and Myrtle Phillips, step daughter, Ann Richardson, and two brothers, Jim Phillips and John Phillips.

Visitation will be held at Aimwell Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 pm service time with Rev. Don White officiating. Burial will be in the Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery.
