She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Edmonds of Thomasville, AL; son, Russell C. Edmonds of Thomasville, AL; brother, Benton L. (Irene) Newton of Aiken, SC; sister, Willodeen Webb of Thomasville, AL; sister-in-law, Sandra Newton of Dickinson, AL; two grandchildren, Caroline Edmonds and Caleb Edmonds.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Elam Baptist Church on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ralph Edmonds officiating. Burial will be in the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.
