Lenore Maness Irons, age 79, of Thomasville, AL, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Thomasville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, AL. She was born May 15, 1932 in Dixons Mills, AL. She was a member of the Thomasville United Methodist Church and attended Lower Peachtree United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. "Dick" Irons of Thomasville, AL; sister in law, Josephine D. Maness of Hattisburg, MS; 2 nieces, Lisa (Steve) Summitt of Florence, AL and Ronda (Jeff) Vanderheiden fo Hattisburg, MS.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. George Sedberry and Rev. Paul McVay officiating. Burial will be at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thomasville United Methodist Church, the Lower Peachtree United Methodist Church, or the United Methodist Church Children's Home.
