Obituary for Cecil Maurice Dunkley
Cecil Maurice Dunkley age 89 of Montgomery, AL died December 14, 2023 at VA Hospital in Tuskegee, AL. He was born September 10, 1934 in Linden, AL to George and Thelma Dunkley. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Army having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Vaughn (Alexis Vaughn); brother, Louis Dunkley; two sisters, Mary Jane Goode and Frances Crouch; and two grandchildren, Elliot Asher Vaughn and Parks Alexander Vaughn, and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Thelma Dunkley; his brother, Jimmy Alexander Dunkley; and sister, Evelyn Marie Dunkley Henry.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am service time. Burial will follow at Linden Memorial Park.
