Margaret Gloria Palmer age 83 of Jackson, AL died May 5, 2018 at her home. She was born August 28, 1934 in Jackson, AL to Dennis Franklin and Cora Lynn Payne. Glo was a former registered nurse and a member of McCanns United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Jimmie Payne Smith, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd H. Palmer

Visitation will be held McCanns United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:30 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Forest Weekly officiating. Burial will follow at Peniel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the United Methodist Childrens Home.
