Troy Ray Smith, Sr. age 80 of Pine Hill, AL died March 7, 2018 at his home. He was born September 13, 1937 in Jefferson County, AL to Dewey Lee and Lena Mae Smith. He was the owner of Troy Smith Logging and a member of Pine Hill Chapel in Pine Hill, AL.

He is survived by his wife, Lois B. Smith of Pine Hill, AL; four sons, Troy Ray (Debbie) Smith, Jr. of Malbis, AL; Mark Brandon (Evelyn) Smith of Pine Hill, AL; Lee Jeffrey (Rennie) Smith of Mobile, AL; and Matthew Blanton (Alice) Smith of Pine Hill, AL; a sister, Vernell Hughes of Anniston, AL; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Pine Hill, AL.
