John Allen Wheat Locke age 60 of Demopolis, AL died January 30, 2018 at Hill Hospital of Sumter County. He was born July 2, 1957 in Demopolis, AL. He was a former control operator with Alabama Power Company.

He is survived by three daughters, Christy Megginson, Amber Kelsey, and Andrea VonHelton; mother, Myrtis Wheat Locke Harris; sister, Pam Locke Baker; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Joe Wheat, his birth father, Jerome Wheat, and his adoptive father, Buddy Locke

Memorial services will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jake Duke officiating. Visitation will start at 12:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jefferson Cemetery Fund.
