Charles Earl Osburn age 79 of Linden, AL died January 17, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. He was born November 6, 1938 in Perry County, AL to C.W. and Verna Osburn. He was a retired millwright, a veteran of the US. Navy, and a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Osburn; daughter, Wendy (Roger) Burge; two sons, Jerry (Ann) Osburn and Wade (Angela) Osburn; sister, Carolyn Lovett; four grandchildren, Andy (Alisha) Burge, Jessica Burge, Lauren Osburn, and Kimberly Osburn; four great grandchildren, Addison Burge, Conner Burge, Adalyn Harrison, and Brantley Harrison

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Osburn, Jr., parents, C.W. and Verna Osburn, three sisters, Florence Allen, Elizabeth Crawford, and Josephine Webb, two brothers, Mike Osburn and Howard Osburn.

Visitation will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Dr. David Stidham and Paul Whitcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
