Jeanette Lynn Gates age 74 a homemaker of Sweet Water, AL died January 9, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born February 16, 1943 in Sweet Water, AL to Charles Allen and Mary Elizabeth Lynn. She attended Crossroad Community Church in Dixons Mills, AL.

She is survived by her husband, David S. Gates, two sons, Tony (Leigh Ann) Gates and Tracy Gates; daughter, Janice Nicole Gates; brother, Allen Lynn; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Glenn Akridge officiating. Burial will follow at Paynes Chapel Cemetery in Sweet Water, AL.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
