He is survived by his daughter, Christan Bishop (John David, IV) Phillips; brother, Allen (Debbie) Bishop; grandchild. John David Phillips, V; grandmother, Annie Laura Bishop; and nephew, Branden Bishop.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Bishop; mother, Cathy Victoria McCrary; and brother, Scott Bishop.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Zachary Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville, AL.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be mad to Thomasville United Methodist Church.
