James Leldon Loftin age 95 of Nicholsville, AL died December 28, 2017 at Choctaw General Hospital. He was born June 24, 1922 in Marengo Co., AL to William H. and Alice Whearley Loftin. He was a farmer and retried paper mill worker from James Rivers Corp. He was a World War II, US Army veteran, 103rd Infantry Division, and a member of Nicholsville Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Donna Richardson (Allen) of Pennington, AL, Anne Autery of Portland, OR, and Joyce Garner of Ball Ground, GA; brother, Ralph Loftin of Nicholsville, AL; three grandsons, Ryan Richardson, Riley Richardson, and Greg Autery; and great granddaughter, Gracie Anne Richardson; and a special caregiver, Susan Black.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Loftin, his parents, a brother, Price Loftin, and a sister, Catherine Wixey.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Old Liberty Cemetery on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Fred Wiley officiating.
