He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa, AL. and was a member of The Professional Golfers Association of America.

He is survived by his parents, Larry Joe and Mary Sue Kyle Henry; his brother, Craig Henry; aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at Linden Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 12:00 noon with Dr. Billy Harris and Rev. Chad Ward officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park.
