Obituary for Minnie Gray Courtney Foxhall

Minnie Gray Courtney Foxhall age 88 of Gallion, AL died November 29, 2017 at UAB Hospital. She was born August 13, 1929 in Thomaston, AL to Harvey and Mae Kratzer. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Gallion, AL.

She is survived by her seven children, Marvin Rex (Kay) Courtney of Gallion, AL; Mary C. (James) Foxhall of Demopolis, AL; Helen C. (Melvin) Kane of Camden, AL; Wayne (Martha) Courtney of Coffeeville, AL; Betty Joyce (Cleatus) Bailey of McDonald, TN; James Thomas (Lisa) Courtney of Ragland, AL; and Jimmy (Shelby) Foxhall of Millport, AL; two sisters, Annie Ree Bullock of Monroeville, AL; and Dora Ethel LaBoid of Linden, AL; two brothers, John Kratzer of Byron, GA; and David Kratzer of Houston, TX; fifteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Comer Courtney and Lamar Foxhall; her daughter, Linda Aitken her parents, Harvey and Mae Kratzer; and brother, Ben Kratzer.

Visitation will be held at Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm service time with Rev. Warren Huggins and Dr. David Stidham officiating. Burial will be at Linden Memorial Park in Linden, AL.
