Robert Joe Sheffield, Sr. age 81 of Arlington, AL died November 23, 2017 at his home. He was born April 29, 1936 in McKinley, AL, to Robert Elee and Edwin Louise Sheffield. He was a retired master sergeant with US Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He attended County Line Baptist Church.

She is survived by his wife, Joy C. Sheffield; three sons, Michael (Becky) Sheffield, David (Jean) Sheffield, and Robert (Sandy) Sheffield, Jr.; sister, Winnie Ann Holloman; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Lister Hill officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Dixons Mills, AL.
