Obituary for Velma Bedsole May

Velma Bedsole May age 86 a homemaker of Gallion, AL died November 15, 2017 at Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 19, 1931 in Providence, AL to Irby and Lois Bedsole. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Gallion, AL.

She was survived by her son, Steve (Linda) May of Gallion, AL; two daughters, Jackie Wright of Castleberry, AL; and Debbie May of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Betty Jean (Raymond) Helton of Monroeville, AL; and Carolyn Bedsole of Eustis, FL; two brothers, Jerry Bedsole of Monroeville, AL; and Dan Bedsole of Cordele, GA; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Leslie) May, Kevin (Nicki) May, Samantha Seaman, and Brett Wright; five great grandchildren, Anna Russell May, Audie May, Caroline May, Camille May, and Monroe May.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Graveside funeral services will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
