Helen Marie Ballard age 79 of Linden, AL died October 21, 2017 at her home. She was born July 11, 1938 in Marengo County, AL to Claude Neal and Cora Belle Vice. She was a retired seamstress with Vanity Fair Corporation and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James G. Ballard; step son, Randall Ballard; brother, Byron Vice; three sisters, Elaine Bradley, Jean Schroeder, and Virginia Goodman; five grandchildren, Chase Moreland Jones, Jason Dunkley, Jarrett Dunkley, Nicholas Ballard, and Patrick Ballard and 2 great grandchildren

Graveside funeral services will be held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tony Antonelli officiating.
