Maudine Dozier age 85 a native of Chance, AL and a resident of Thomasville, AL was born on August 12, 1932 to parentage of the late Manah Dozier and Grey Kennedy Dozier. She passed at her family home in Chance, AL to her heavenly home on September 20, 2017.
Maudine was a longtime member of Cane Creek United Methodist Church in Chance, where she first professed her faith in Christ. She attended Thomasville Baptist Church for many years. Maudine worked 35 years for Bedsoles Dry Goods of Thomasville. She spent her spare time helping and caring for others. She spent many hours visiting the nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She loved her family and devoted many years into caring for her sister, Clarice until she passed away in 2013.
Maudine is survived by her sister, Ruth Grey (Ray) Wilkinson of Tupelo, MS; ten nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manah and Leona Grey Dozier; three brothers, Kenneth Dozier, Kirklin Dozier, and Manah Dozier, Jr.; one sister, Clarice Spinks.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Ty Parten, Rev. David Nelson, and Dr. James Best officiating. Burial will be at the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.
