Katherine Rose Courtney age 65 of Gallion, AL died peacefully at her home on September 23, 2016.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Brown Rose and June Kratzer, her sister, Debra Sledge, brothers, Greg and Dale Rose.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years,Charlie Lee Courtney, her daughter, April (Tommy) Courtney, son, Joseph (Jodi) Courtney, grandsons, James (Kayla) Courtney, Jason (Heather) Courtney, Tristen Courtney, and Bradley (Katrina) Gill, granddaughters, Breanna Gill and Chelsea Courtney, her step father, John Kratzer, nieces, Stacie White and Samantha Rose, nephews, Billy and Chris Rose, great grandchildren, Walker and Olivia Courtney, and Alli Rayne Courtney.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 12:30 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Joe C. Courtney officiating. Burial will be in the Quinney Family Cemetery in Gallion, AL.
