Carol Virginia Thompson Glass age 89 of Thomasville, AL, died August 18, 2016 at her home. She was born on April 11, 1927. She was homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, John Watson Glass of Thomasville, AL; James Brooks (Nancy) Glass of Nanafalia, AL; three daughters, Carol (Cecil) Nelson Hill of Thomasville, AL; Kaye (Danny) Harrison of Thomasville, AL; Judy Mclean of Montgomery, AL; nine grandchildren, Richard Dwight (Tina) Nelson, Rodney Danny (Trina) Harrison, Jennifer Nelson (Jason) Robertson, Leandra Glass (Brad) Goodman, Tonie Amanda Harrison, Justin Wyatt Glass, James Brooks Glass, Jr., Brantley Heath Glass, and Harley Paige Glass; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Glass, Jr., her parents, Watson Thompson and Lois Bradford Thompson, two brothers, Julius F. Thompson and John Watson Thompson, two son-in-law's, Billy Ray Nelson and Victor McLean

Visitation will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM service time with Rev. Bill Faircloth, Rev. Craig Gavin, and Rev. David Grayson officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville, AL
