Kirvin Hicks, age 86 of Grove Hill, AL died June 29, 2016 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born May 11, 1930 in Clarke County, AL He was a former engineer with the Clarke County Commissioners and a member of Tompkins Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Celia May Hicks of Grove Hill, AL; daughter, Linda Hicks (Coma) Jackson of Jackson, AL; two sons, Charles (Faye) Hicks of Whatley, AL; and Larry (Sharon) Hicks of Fulton, AL; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C. M. "Pick" Hicks and Mary Lee Lavender Hicks, three brothers, Emmett Hicks, Mitford Hicks, and Mabin Hicks.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Tompkins Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Holden Smith and Wesley Hicks officiating.
