E. P. Walker, age 91 of Valley Grande, AL died June 18, 2016 at his daughter's home. He was born November 28, 1924 in Grove Hill, AL. He was a former lumber grader with Scotch Lumber Company and a member of Bassett Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his four daughters, Linda W. Dolbare and Fay W. Elrod of Valley Grande, AL; Kay W. Taylor of Selma, AL; and Laura Jan W. Brooker of Gallion, AL; eleven grandchildren, Robert Walker (Hailey) Dolbare, Sara Katherine Taylor, Katie B. (Joel) Stevens, Anna D. (Chris) Adams, Ellen T. (Clint) Mitchell, Alan Brooker, Drew Hewston, Jeffrey Elrod, Seth Taylor, Michael Brooker, and Joel Taylor, four great grandchildren, Anna Grace Ingram, Walker Maddox Ingram, Brodie Adams, and Davis Walker Dolbare.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Huggins Walker, parents, Tom and Nancy Walker, two sisters, Sallie Walker LaPage and Myrtle Walker West, two brothers, Jim Thomas Walker and S. P. Walker (his twin).

Visitation will be held at Bassett Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 1:30 pm until the 3:00 pm service time with Rev. Rick Elrod and Rev. Chris Kynard officiating. Burial will be in Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill, AL.
