Berta Janelle Glass, age 81 of Linden, AL died May 19, 2016 at DCH Regional Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1935 in Wayne, AL. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Glass of Linden, AL; son, Thomas Keith Glass of Washington, TX; daughter, Doris Marie Watson of Vinemont, AL; two brothers, Thomas Odell Vice of Linden, AL; and Charles Milton Vice of Creola, AL; three sisters, Charlotte Marie Harrison of Linden, AL; Mary Frances Dumas of Pine Hill, AL; and Ida Louise Duncan of Thomasville, AL; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Adrienne Denise Glass Henson, parents, Charles Braxton Vice and Alma Louise Jordan Vice, brother, William Braxton Vice.

Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Paul Whitcomb and Rev. Chad Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in Dixons Mills, AL.
