Donald Stewart Williams age 81 of Demopolis, AL died May 13, 2016 at his home. He was born June 22, 1934 in Greensboro, AL. He was a retired insurance agent with Mutual Savings Insurance Company and a member of Demopolis First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Williams of Demopolis, AL; their children, Scott (Tonya) Williams of Demopolis, AL; Tim (Cindy) Williams of Demopolis, AL; David (Carol) Barnes of Moundville, AL; Gina (John C.) Jay of Greensboro, AL; brother, Roland Williams of Moundville, AL; two sisters, Beatrice Caldow of Tuscaloosa, AL; and Imogene McCrory of Greensboro, AL; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Opal Faye Overstreet Williams.
Visitation will be at Demopolis First United Methodist Church on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. David Willis and Rev. Kenny Overstreet officiating. Burial will be in the Forkland Methodist Cemetery in Forkland, AL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Demopolis First United Methodist Church or Forkland United Methodist Church.
