Thomas Earl Trotter age 62 of Linden, AL, died January 22, 2016 at his home. He was born February 9, 1953 in Beckley, WV. He was board mill foreman with Westrock and was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Westbrook Trotter of Linden, AL; 2 sons, Michael Thomas (Elizabeth) Trotter of Demopolis, AL; and William “Billy” David (Jessie) Trotter of Providence, AL; 2 sisters, Connie (John) Chambers of Northport, AL; and Mellissa (Larry) Hasty of Providence, AL; step-mother, Doris C. Trotter of Needham, AL; mother-in-law, Mary S. Westbrook of Linden, AL; 5 grandchildren, Cole Thomas Trotter, Anna Bradley Trotter, Bailey Paget Trotter, Kenzie Morgan Smyly, and Lawson Tate Smyly; 4 sisters-in-laws, Debbie Foxhall of Demopolis, AL; Donna (Ronnie) Stokes of Thomaston, AL; Dianne (Daryl) Green of Surginer, AL; and Dale (Danny) Smith of Tupelo, MS; several nieces and nephews; a special friend like a brother, David Gaddy and Rich Quinney, who he thought of like a son.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roland David Trotter, his mother Camilla Vanzant Trotter, and his brother, Ronnie Trotter.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Sharp and Rev. Billy Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Old Linden Cemetery in Linden, AL.
