Robert Cecil "Bobby" Gibson, Jr., age 69 of Thomasville, AL died June 17, 2015 in Pine Hill, AL. He was born April 12, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, AL. Bobby was the owner of Alabama Timber Industries. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church and a lifetime member of VFW Post 5106 in Thomasville, AL.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Spinks Gibson of Thomasville, AL; two sons, Robert "Trip" Cecil Gibson, III, of Birmingham, AL; and James McMillan (Mary Lawrence) Gibson of Thomasville, AL; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Gibson of Birmingham, AL; brother, Richard Jeffery Gibson of Thomasville, AL.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held at Choctaw Corner Cemetery on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ty Parten officiating.
