Kathleen Parten Jowers age 87 a former seamstress of Sweet Water, AL., died April 10, 2015 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born April 24, 1927 in Sweet Water, AL. She was a member of Old Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kinner Jowers, her parents, James Corbet and Madie Parten, and her siblings, Lucille Beverly, Ruth Nichols, and Doris Black.

She is survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a special nephew, Curtis Gates and his wife Kim, a special niece, Niki Jowers, several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11:00 am.
