Dorothy Andrews Finley born August 7, 1924, died December 31, 2014 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Floyd Finley, parents, Ira Jackson, and Clara Bishop Andrews, brothers, Claude, Cullen, Chester, Cecil, and Cliffton Andrews, and sisters, Lillie Mae Brunson, Lila Dee, and Emma Lou Andrews, Clida Lee Fendley, and Bertha Whitlock.

After graduating from business school in 1942 she worked as payroll clerk at Scotch Lumber until her appointment as Postmaster for the town of Fulton, AL in 1959. She served as Postmaster until her retirement in 1983. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.

She is survived by her stepson, Herman Floyd Finley, Jr. of Honolulu, HI; and generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Chris Kynard, Rev. Keith Johnson, and Dr. James Best officiating. Burial was in the Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill AL.
