Helen Gray Burge age 84 a retired garment inspector of Jackson, AL, died August 20, 2014 at her home. She was born January 18, 1930 in Sunny South, AL. She was a member of Uniontown Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Melvin (Ann) Burge of Selma, AL; Ted (Susan) Burge of Greensboro, AL; daughter, Judy (Russell) Stephens of Jackson, AL; two brothers, Robert Milton Sims of Pine Hill, AL; William Cecil Sims of Thomasville, AL; sister, Una Rae Sims Hill of Pine Hill, AL; eight grandchildren, Elisha (Pearson) Rogers, Ellen (Jimbo) Miller, Jeremy (Carol Beth) Burge, Lynzie (Brian) Davis, Teri (Warren) Walton, Justin Burge, Josh Stephens, Emily (Matt) Drinkard, eleven great grandchildren, Clayton Rogers, Cannon Rogers, Addison Miller, Auden Davis, Burke Davis, Evie Leigh Walton, Henry Walton, Caleb Walton, Autum Tillary, Eli Burge, Battle Burge.

Visitation will be held at Uniontown Baptist Church ion Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 2:30 pm until the 3:30 pm service time. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown, AL.
