Brenda Joyce Braswell McClure age 65 a retired bookkeeper of Thomaston, AL, died August 12, 2014 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. She was born September 1, 1948 in Thomaston, AL. She was a member of the Linden Baptist Church and attended Thomaston Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband; George C. McClure of Thomaston, AL; son, George Health (Lynette) McClure of Thomaston, AL; daughter, Vicki Lynn (Dexter) Drake of Thomaston, AL; brother, James Leon (Pamela) Braswell of Mannford, OK; two sisters, Carolyn B. Rogers of Beaumont, MS; Hazel B.(Wallace) Vick of Demopolis, AL; three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Thomaston Baptist Church on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Dunford Cole, Rev. Randall Mims, and Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial will be at Linden Memorial Park in Linden, AL.
