Martha Overstreet Jackson, age 77 of Pine Hill, AL. died April 4, 2014 in Gainestown, AL. She was born November 23, 1936 in Alma, AL. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Jackson, son, James Ralph Jackson, Jr., foster daughter, Bonnie Williams, 2 brothers, Thomas Overstreet and Louie Overstreet, 3 sisters, Audrey Palmer, Geraldean Dumas, and Wilda Gilchrist, 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL Sunday April 6, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pine Hill, AL., with Rev. Richard Matindale, Rev. Irby Weaver and Warren Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine Hill, AL.
